Eric Paschall

The Golden State Warriors started the season with Eric Paschall in the five on the court at the tip. They quickly learned that having the second-year pro as a starter wouldn’t bode well for his efficiency.

In the team’s third game, they brought him off the bench, and in the minutes he had, he started to thrive. Paschall’s role on this team should be as the best player off the bench, not as a starter for when Draymond Green can’t play.

Paschall, as a starter, scored 13 points in over 40 minutes of play. It’s also important to note that he wasn’t efficient against the Nets and Bucks.

Then, off the bench, he put up 15 points against the Bulls. Paschall can be good, but as we’ve seen, his ceiling will likely be capped until he either develops into a more consistent shooter or a better player.

That said, he still deserves more minutes off the bench and is clearly a better sixth man than starter.
