Oklahoma City Thunder

Sam Presti and the Oklahoma City Thunder have been accruing an absolute stockpile of picks. There’s no reason he wouldn’t want to add a few more in exchange for a scoring forward, something the Thunder could use since losing Danilo Gallinari.

The team is led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and they have a plethora of other high-potential prospects. With their next few drafts, they’ll be able to add even more talent. The Warriors’ picks could help the Oklahoma City.

They won’t be getting SGA or any other prospect, but the Warriors could include a third team and add a star like Beal. These teams have the cap space to bring in a star as spotrac has the Thunder with over $13.5 million in practical cap space.

The Thunder also have the third most in dead cap. George Hill may be a player they’d bring back if the Warriors would have to deal in some of Oklahoma City’s bad contract. Al Horford would cost too much.

The perfect combination would be Hill and then another star that could lower the total cap for the Warriors. It’d be a tough, complicated deal to pull off, but the Thunder have the cap space to add the big contract, especially if they could unload Horford elsewhere.
