2. Shooting slump won’t last

The Warriors have always been one of the top shooting teams in the league. This wasn’t the case last year when they ranked 29th in total 3-pointers – but they obviously didn’t have Stephen Curry on the floor back then.

Sadly, his presence hasn’t made much of an impact yet. The Dubs are shooting 31.0 percent on catch-and-shoot 3-pointers, the second-worst accuracy in the NBA.

Why is that? Well, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andrew Wiggins have gotten off to ROUGH starts from behind the arch. While we didn’t expect them to be elite shooters, we can certainly expect them to start knocking down 3-pointers at a higher rate than they have been.

Meanwhile, Curry himself is finding it hard to get quality looks from deep. This is a direct result of his teammates not understanding the system and neglecting to pass him the ball when he’s open. This should be resolved throughout the season as they build chemistry. It also helps to have Green back on the floor.
