The Golden State Warriors are almost a dozen games into the season. That said, let’s check up on how some of our preseason trade targets are doing.

While it’s unlikely, the Golden State Warriors have some assets in their back pocket that could bring in another player to help contribute. Their disabled player exception is an option and could produce a player like Lou Williams at the right cost.

You have to think that any player added would also be a crushing blow to their luxury tax. The Warriors have been among the league leaders in payroll the past few seasons. Continuing that trend seems to be in their future.

As for their player, the Warriors are 4-4.

They’ve lost to four playoff-caliber teams and taken down three teams like not to make the postseason. It’s been as we’ve expected except for the poor play during a few stretches, mainly against the Celtics and Bucks, a pair of games in which Draymond Green didn’t play.

Before the season we labeled several potential trade targets, and now, almost ten games into the season, let’s look at where they’ve been and if their addition would make that big of an impact on the Warriors.
