The Golden State Warriors are looking like a team that’ll contend for a playoff spot, and with a few buyout adds, they could have a chance at a championship.

After an 0-2, there weren’t many that were hopeful that the Golden State Warriors were going to be able to turn it around. Stephen Curry was struggling, and the flaws in Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andrew Wiggins seemed too obvious to even mention.

Thankfully, this team did win six of their next eight including taking down the Blazers behind 62 points from Stephen Curry and the Clippers. The Warriors were also able to get some revenge on the Raptors, who beat them in the 2019 NBA Finals.

Golden State has turned their season around, and they’ll need to continue this trend to keep their place in the Western Conference. They’re currently fifth place. The Lakers, Clippers, and Suns are the only teams with a better record.

That type of effort should make Golden State a premier buyout destination. I wrote on why they wouldn’t be earlier this season, but after making a turnaround, this team seemed poised to add late-season talent.

That said, let’s dive into three players they’ll need to keep an eye on.
