The Golden State Warriors missed on James Harden. That said, there are still plenty of superstar options that may come available in the near future.

There has been one superstar traded this month, and it may not be the last. While there isn’t technically another on the market right now, there’s no denying the Golden State Warriors could toss out a convincing offer.

The Warriors had aspirations of adding James Harden. They reportedly tried to engage with the Rockets, but it doesn’t appear that the conversations got very far as the Warriors likely didn’t get close to the Nets or Sixers offer.

While they certainly could have with a few top-tier assets in their back pocket, it wouldn’t have been smart to mortgage the future, one that includes a top-three protected pick in next year’s draft from Minnesota.

There are other stars that may not cost as much that could also have a sizable impact on the Warriors, a team on the verge of playoff contention. While it still seems like the Warriors will value their future picks, they have the tools to bring in an asset if they so desire.

After a rough start to the season with losses to the Nets and Bucks that combined for over 50 points, the Dubs bounced back and have now downed both the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers.

This team is looking solid, and if they could look better with another star on their roster. That said, let’s dive into the three most likely traded before the 2021 deadline.
