For those smart enough to stick by the Golden State Warriors longer than three games, congratulations! As anyone who has been watching this team for the last decade could predict, the Dubs are beginning to hit their stride now that Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have had an opportunity to shake off the rust and whip their supporting cast into shape.

Don’t get me wrong, the Dubs have taken a few beatings to open up the season. Massive losses to Brooklyn, Milwaukee and Portland had this team on the ropes early on. However, they have weathered the storm and are looking at an easier schedule ahead of them.

A huge comeback win over the Los Angeles Lakers has the Dubs feeling good about themselves. As the rest of the team continues to feel acclimated to Steve Kerr’s system, we should only see them improve moving forward.

The Golden State Warriors are trending in a good direction and these three factors have been the root of their success.

It’s hard to pinpoint one thing that has made the Warriors more successful recently. While Green’s return is an obvious benefit, and Curry’s excellence is the driving force behind each win, those things are all to be expected from two certified Hall of Famers.

Rather than explaining how Curry and Green are all-time greats once again, let’s take a look at how these three other players have managed to help push the Warriors into a better direction for the future.
