The Golden State Warriors have been on fire recently, and they’ve been dominant behind a few players that have stepped up and shown big-time potential.

Over the last few games, the Golden State Warriors have impressive wins over the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs. The team as a whole played much better than analysts projected them.

That’s why trusting preseason analysis of teams isn’t always fair. For Golden State, they’ve played much better since Draymond Green returned. Green missed the two games of the season in which the Warriors suffered two blowout losses.

Green isn’t averaging a ton of points, but his assist numbers are looking good. His impact has been even greater than last year as well. Everything is clicking now for Dub Nation, a fanbase that missed winning after a 15-win season.

With the energy brought on a nightly basis by Kelly Oubre Jr. and then a solid second unit to back up the starters, Golden State has proven that they have everything it takes to get to the NBA Finals.

While that’s still up in the air given the level of play at the top of the West, if the Warriors can get hot, they have the players on both sides of the ball to get it done.

The Warriors, in their recent stretch of success, have been able to get big-time contributions from players that weren’t playing up to par to start the season. That said, let’s dive into three of the players that have stepped up for Golden State.
