Golden State Warriors’ trade scenarios No. 2

We’ve talked at length about how Lonzo Ball and JJ Reddick can help the Golden State Warriors. To avoid being repetitive, we will now focus more on how a third-team can assist in making this deal possible for the Dubs.

The Brooklyn Nets made the bold decision to trade most of their depth for James Harden. Now, the team is without a reliable center as DeAndre Jordan is past his prime and no one else is capable of replacing him in the rotation.

This is where Kevon Looney can step in to save the day. Looney is a championship experienced player who is familiar with Kevin Durant and can play quality minutes for Brooklyn. He is much more dependable than Jordan at this stage in his career and is an easy fit.

As for the Pelicans, they gain a young shooter in Landry Shamet to replace Reddick and another guard in Tyler Johnson to fill in as a backup playmaker. This allows the Dubs to give up fewer assets while still satisfying all three teams.
