What if the Golden State Warriors put all of their chips into the next two seasons and went all out for a championship? What kind of trades could they make with this mindset? With a number of valuable trade chips, the Dubs could create some chaos by going for broke and being buyers at the deadline.

The Golden State Warriors have the assets to stir the pot and swing for a home run deal. Let’s look at seven short-sighted trade proposals.

It’s obvious that the Warriors aren’t going to compete for a title this season as they currently stand. Unless multiple members of their supporting cast make huge leaps in development from now to June, the Dubs won’t be hanging another banner this year.

With that being said, the Dubs do have all of the assets needed to pull off a deal at the deadline. While swinging for the fences might not be their best choice (it isn’t), it’s certainly an interesting thing to consider.

Nothing is promised in the NBA. We’ve seen seemingly great teams have their championship windows slammed shut without a moment’s notice. If you have a prime Stephen Curry and a still elite Draymond Green – shouldn’t you be gunning for a trophy every chance you get?

Let’s make it clear, these trade proposals are short-sighted. They almost all act under the mindset of going all-out within the next two seasons to win a title. While the Warriors’ front office hasn’t expressed an interest in dumping their assets for a star – these deals are all within the realm of what’s possible for the Dubs if they choose to make a push.
