Will the Golden State Warriors be buyers at the deadline? They don’t have much reason not to. With enough wiggle room to bring on at least one quality role player, the Dubs could easily look to add someone to their rotation and solidify their spot in the Western Conference Playoffs.

An additional signing could push the Golden State Warriors further into the playoff picture. Here’s who they should target.

The Dubs are currently on the bubble as far as reaching the postseason goes. We’re rapidly approaching the second half of the season and the team hasn’t separated themselves from the pack – sitting with a 14-12 record and just a few games from moving up to the fourth seed or plummeting to the back end of the lottery.

They have everything needed to fight for a spot but there are no guarantees when Stephen Curry is playing limited minutes and the supporting cast is wildly inconsistent.

This team needs stability. A veteran presence or someone who can be relied upon to produce every single night can take this team from a borderline playoff team to a dark horse contender. But, who can they target?

The deadline for signing players will come much later in the year than normal. With a shortened season in general, this doesn’t give the team much time to pick a player and integrate them into the rotation before the playoffs begin. Nonetheless, if the front office is active, these are the three players they should be targetting.
