The Golden State Warriors can add more talent, and with their disabled player exception, targets that they must consider will be on the market.

So far this season, the Golden State Warriors, behind an MVP-caliber season from Stephen Curry, have destroyed preseason expectations. While there’s still a ton of regular-season ball to be played, the Warriors clearly have what it takes as long as they stay healthy.

After the Golden State Warriors came from behind and beat a fully healthy Los Angeles Lakers, the league woke up. Golden State is for real this season, and while they’ve had a few ugly blowout losses, the talent is there.

Led by two-time MVP Stephen Curry who is averaging over 30 points per game for just the second time in his career, the Warriors have done enough to prove that they’re going to still be playing basketball late in May.

However, without Klay Thompson, the Warriors may need more. They brought in Kelly Oubre Jr., but he hasn’t been the player many had hoped he would be. Oubre Jr. just hasn’t scored efficiently and consistently yet this season.

With the disabled player exception already in their back pocket, the Warriors will have option. That said, let’s dive into three players the team should make a move on sooner rather than later.
