After a second straight win, it’s obvious the Golden State Warriors are going to be a playoff-contending team. They’ve proven that with victories over teams like the Lakers and Clippers, both of which were at full strength.

Now back on the West Coast, the Warriors took down the Hornets with ease, getting a solid offensive night from Kelly Oubre Jr.

To add to Oubre Jr.’s improved play, Andrew Wiggins has been everything this team has needed which is why a blockbuster trade seems out of the question. Adding that type of salary would force the Warriors’ hand when it comes to their possible trade options.

The NBA is now within a month of their March 25 trade deadline. That said, let’s dive into two ideal targets for the Golden State Warriors.

With Klay Thompson injured before the season, the Warriors were gifted a disabled player exception. While Thompson was a max-value player, the exception Golden State was given can total a contract up to $9.6 million.

That could provide a season-changing player for Golden State to target. With that being said, let’s dive into two players that fit under that number and could make a huge difference for the Warriors down the stretch.
