The Golden State Warriors enter the All-Star break at 19-18, sitting just outside the Western Conference Playoff picture. There are a few factors that will determine if they crack the top-eight and earn a postseason berth or dwindle to the back of the NBA Draft Lottery – but either way, they should start experimenting with new lineups.

Golden State has nothing to lose at this point. Their chances of making it to the next stage of the season are 50/50 as is. The worst that could happen is they waste one more year of prime Stephen Curry and Draymond Green in favor of rebuilding through the draft.

As we approach the second half of the season, it’s time to consider a few lineup changes the Golden State Warriors could make.

Or, perhaps changing the lineup could be the key to helping the team find its mojo. Switching the rotation could be all it takes for players to embrace their roles and begin contributing enough for them to win.

Either way, it doesn’t hurt to start seeing what can be done with these players. If they fall out of the playoffs for good then so be it. But, maybe they’ll make a late-season push to secure a spot. We’ll never know if they don’t give it a shot.
