As luck would have it, the Golden State Warriors are dangerously close to securing two selections in the upcoming NBA Draft. They will hold onto their own pick as long as they miss the playoffs (currently sitting at ninth in the West) and the Dubs will gain Minnesota’s first round pick if it falls out of the top-three (50/50 chance).

This gives the Warriors a chance at getting a pick as high as fourth in the order. While they will miss out on the chance to draft freshman sensation Cade Cunningham, and the talented USC big man Evan Mobly, there are plenty of exciting prospects that should be available at No. 4.

The 2021 NBA Draft will be here before we know it and the Golden State Warriors should be looking to select one of these prospects.

Rebuilding through the draft would be a great way for the Warriors to lay down the foundation for the next decade. They already have promising prospects such as James Wiseman and Eric Paschall, adding more to this collection in the upcoming draft will give them one of the best young cores in the league.

Still, one of the main challenges they face is drafting players that can help them compete in the present, as well. There’s no sense in placing all their chips into the future when they have three star players on the roster ready to win a title. With that being said, let’s look at five prospects the Dubs should target at No. 4.
