The reality of the situation?

The reason we were all crushed when we found out Klay had a season-ending injury, was because we knew any chance to compete for a chip was going to be on hold for a season.  If we are all honest with ourselves, this team is performing better than we thought.

To start trading players before we see how they perform with Klay on the floor seems nonsensical to say the least.  I am a firm believer that long-term success is built through the draft.  The current core is as vivid of an illustration of this as you will find.

So why are fans demanding Myers trade assets when at best we get bounced in the second round?

We are better than that.

Right?

Do we really believe that trading Wiseman, the Minnesota pick, and Wiggins for Bradley Beal is going to get us to the promised land?
