The NBA is almost a week away from their March 25 NBA Trade Deadline, and the Golden State Warriors are expected to be active prior to that date.

The Golden State Warriors are apparently going to be aggressive at the NBA Trade Deadline. However, they’re going to be in a spot that could pose a lose-lose opportunity if they do make a trade.

Why?

Well, if they go over the top for a star, they likely mortgage the future as that 2021 Minnesota first-round pick would be on the table. If they don’t add a star, they won’t have done enough to add to the roster.

The Warriors, who are looking to get back into playoff position, need to get Curry more shooting and a better, more experienced frontcourt. Both will be available on the trade market in the next week.

Players like P.J. Tucker, Victor Oladipo, and several others that could add to Golden State’s roster will be available. With a short line between a great trade and a short-minded, win-now trade that results in Golden State losing said player to free agency, the Warriors must side with caution.

That said, they may be destined to make a trade, but let’s dive into three moves we really hope they don’t make.
