It’s shaping up to be an underwhelming year as far as trades go. The Golden State Warriors made notable moves such as flipping All-Star D’Angelo Russell for Andrew Wiggins last season – but it seems the league as a whole will be quiet at the deadline this time around.

The biggest deal of the season happened earlier when the Houston Rockets ended the James Harden era in a four-team blockbuster. Since then, nothing but vague rumors have emerged about a few different players potentially being on the trading block.

It doesn’t sound like the Golden State Warriors are going to make any moves, but here are the three best players they could target.

As should be expected, the Warriors are a popular team in these rumors. Any time a new player is on the block, the Dubs are mentioned as a potential suitor. This is because they are one of the only teams with numerous expandable assets and plenty of reasons to shake up the roster.

However, it is increasingly likely the Warriors remain silent at the deadline and focus on seeing how far this roster can take them. Worst case scenario, they capitalize on their draft stock and look to make moves in the offseason.

With that being said, nothing is off the table just yet. Let’s rank the three best players available to Golden State.
