Aaron Gordon joins Golden State

The Golden State Warriors will have the assets to bring in a few high-level scoring threats. While Oladipo would be great, killing two birds with one stone may be a better alternative for Golden State.

Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier both would add something to the Warriors team that they could use. Gordon would slide in and replace Andrew Wiggins, who would have to be dealt to make the cap difficulties work.

Gordon’s scoring had slid in each of the last four seasons, so his stock could be low. The former top-five pick is averaging 13.7 points per game and 1.5 threes per game. An athletic 6-foot-8, Gordon has good size and would provide solid rebounding and scoring.

As for Fournier, he’s an undervalued scoring threat. The nine-year veteran guard is averaging 18.7 points per game, the most in his career. He’s knocking down 2.5 triples per game and is shooting around 45 percent from the field.

Adding the two threats while also having Curry, Green, Wiseman, and Oubre Jr. should give the Warriors a roster capable of thriving offensively and defensively.
