The Golden State Warriors are planning to be aggressive at the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline, and it could come in the form of a trade for Victor Oladipo.
There’s no denying that the Golden State Warriors are not the same dominant team that they were with Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant.
However, at the same time, this team cannot waste a season in which Stephen Curry is playing at an MVP level. The hope was that the Warriors did enough in the offseason to give Curry the threats he needed to make a strong playoff push.
So far, the Golden State Warriors are on the brink of playoff contention, and it feels like they should be just fine as they are, especially considering that they’ll be able to at least have a chance at the No. 9 seed.
While that might be the goal for some, with Curry now 33 and playing some of the best basketball of his career, they need to get him the help it takes to make Golden State a championship-contending team even with Durant in Brooklyn and Thompson sitting on the sideline.
The Warriors have Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. to go along with James Wiseman and Draymond Green as their top-five contributors. Without too many upgrades on the market, Victor Oladipo is a player that would be a more consistent threat.
Also not a player that would cost that coveted 2021 Minnesota Timberwolves pick, let’s dive into four trades the Warriors should consider for Oladipo.
