There’s no denying when Bob Myers said the Golden State Warriors were going to be aggressive at the trade deadline fans expected a different type of movement. The team ended up making two trades.

Each will have little impact on the team.

The Golden State Warriors made two trades prior to the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline, and neither of the deals was what fans were expecting.

Warriors’ backup point guard Brad Wanamaker will be heading to Charlotte. The Hornets recently lost rookie phenom LaMelo Ball for what is looking like the entire season, so they needed that extra backcourt help.

The team also shipped Marquese Chriss to San Antonio. The Spurs also reached an agreement to buyout LaMarcus Aldridge. Chriss had been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a broken leg.

Those were the two moves. Kelly Oubre Jr., Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney are all remaining in the Bay Area.

That said, the Warriors had the offers on their plate for Oubre Jr., and we’re going to dive into five trades they could’ve considered based on what did happen prior to the 3 p.m. EST March 25 deadline.
