Potential Warriors Trade Suggestion: Andrew Wiggins to the Knicks

Let’s move on to a trade that would’ve involved Andrew Wiggins. Now, for the time in seemingly forever, the Knicks are a playoff team. Julius Randle has turned into an all-out superstar, and he’s been leading this team on a nightly basis.

On top of Randle, the Knicks have been getting good contributions from Immanuel Quickley and Mitchell Robinson.

They’re still a few pieces away though, and Andrew Wiggins could’ve at least filled a gap for them. Wiggins is playing high-level basketball and is shooting the best percentages of his career, topping 47 percent from the field and nearing 39 percent from deep.

Wiggins has also proven to be a capable defender, a trait not many thought he had in his arsenal when he came from Minnesota. Combine all that, and Wiggins can fill a void within any organization.

The Knicks were relatively quiet but did add Terrance Ferguson and dealt Austin Rivers. They were looking for a young contributor, and Wiggins could’ve been their guy.
