The Golden State Warriors have been struggling to weather the storm that’s brewing with two-time MVP Stephen Curry’s injury.

Any team in the NBA would struggle if you take out their best player — the Golden State Warriors are no different, but that doesn’t make it easier for this team to get wins without Stephen Curry on the floor.

Curry is just one of several big-name stars that have been sidelined lately. Both Anthony Davis and LeBron James have been out for the past several games. But, the difference is that the Lakers were already solidly in playoff position.

Losing Curry for the next few games on top of the past five games could, in theory, kill the Warriors’ playoffs chances. After all, they’ve gone just 1-4 with Curry sidelined in the past few weeks.

Even with Curry sidelined, the Warriors have a talented roster.

They should not lose by double figures to the Kings and Hawks in back-to-back games. They need to be better if they want to keep playoff hopes alive, dropping under .500 after their most recent loss.

That said, this team needs to rebound in a big way, and in doing so, these three players must step up.
