The Golden State Warriors are going to be a fringe playoff team this season, and they’ll have a few massive games down the stretch that they must win.

Given that ten teams get a chance at the postseason, the Golden State Warriors should be able to get a shot at making some noise after the initial 72-game season. Golden State won’t be a top contender this season, but they have something teams like San Antonio don’t.

That something is a superstar two-time MVP with a championship pedigree. Along those lines, Draymond Green should continue to play an increasingly important role on the offensive end of the court.

If James Wiseman can develop into a solid rim protector and a player that’s not necessarily a liability on the defensive end, this team will have everything it takes to knock off a top-five seed in the playoffs.

There are quite a few “if” statements that still surround this team. While those continue to be answered, the Warriors’ quiet trade deadline didn’t help give this team more firepower for a postseason run.

Golden State has a few massive games left on their schedule. That said, let’s dive into three that I view as a must-win in terms of both the confidence they’d give the team and preparing them for a real opportunity following the season.
