Golden State Warriors potential addition: Avery Bradley

The best part about a potential Avery Bradley addition would be his defense. While he’s not the player he used to be, Bradley would still be a great bench player for Golden State. He’s currently with the Rockets, a team not even close to the play-in game.

Bradley, prior to the deadline, played for the Heat. With Miami, he was getting over 20 minutes per game.

That’s a pretty good amount and easily a figure Golden State could match. In those minutes, he was averaging 8.5 points per game and shooting just over 35 percent from deep. Again, Bradley is now 30. The former two-time All-Defensive player isn’t at quite the same level as he used to be.

With a championship title also under his belt, Bradley knows what it takes to win. He, at one point, averaged over 16 points per game with the Celtics. He may not be a superstar, but he’d arguably be the best fit on the buyout market for the Warriors.

Bradley would be the best positional fit, but both Porter Jr. and Miller would be welcome additions for the Warriors as well. The Dubs are desperate for more help and need one of these three if they hit the open market.
