The Golden State Warriors are under .500, and once looking like the mighty Dubs, they’ve struggled to get going over the last several weeks.

Unless they actually do tank, the Golden State Warriors would finish among the ten-best teams in the Western Conference. That means that they’d have a play-in game to decide their season’s fate.

While they’re hanging on to that 10th seed by a thread, the Warriors should be just fine as long as Stephen Curry and Draymond Green play the bulk of the remaining games. The Dubs just aren’t competent with Curry on the sideline.

After having excitement brewing in the Bay Area that this season would return Golden State to its dominance, the Dubs have let the ball drop.

Rookie center James Wiseman hasn’t quite been the dominant force they’d hoped for, and Klay Thompson‘s injury has surfaced several more difficulties that this team will have to face moving forward.

The Warriors are hopefully going to get back to the level they were at throughout five of the past six seasons. That said, let’s dive into why it won’t be this season that they get back to where they were.
