Warriors potential realistic free agent target:  Reggie Jackson

Another player that’ll be hitting the free agency market is the Clippers backup point guard Reggie Jackson.

The Warriors were set to make finding a quality backup for Stephen Curry a priority last offseason, and they ended up with Brad Wanamaker, who disappointed in his time in the Bay Area and was dealt prior to the trade deadline.

Back at square one in regards to that, the Warriors should again look into adding a veteran, and Reggie Jackson would be the perfect addition. He’s played in 49 games this season and started over half of them.

Jackson is averaging 9.7 points per game but that skyrockets to 16.2 points per 36 minutes, so the production is there and the minutes aren’t. He’s shooting 45.4 percent from the field, the second-highest percentage of his career.

On top of that, he’s drilling 1.6 triples per game at a career-high 41.8 percent clip. He’s athletic, can defend and can shoot well. Put all those together, and adding Jackson would be a huge plus for Golden State.
