Warriors potential realistic free agent target: P.J. Tucker

The Golden State Warriors were pegged as potential suitors for power forward P.J. Tucker before he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. Now, a pairing between the two sides in the offseason would make sense.

Tucker rose to prominence on James Harden‘s Rockets. Without Harden, Tucker struggled to find any rhythm offensively. He thrives off having dominant playmakers and capitalizing on their ability to free space in an offense.

With Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry on the Warriors roster and hopefully healthy next season, Tucker could do damage from the perimeter along with those two. Tucker’s only played a handful of games in Milwaukee.

On the season, he’s averaging 4.1 points per game and shooting just over 36 percent from the field. His 31 percent from deep is not what the Rockets were used to as he went over 35 percent in three straight seasons, so expect that to improve with the Bucks.

Tucker, Jackson and Redick are all veterans that could have a positive impact for Golden State next season and should all have a reasonable price tag on their talents.
