Golden State Warriors’ targets: Glenn Robinson III

It’s the reunion we’ve all been hoping for but still hasn’t happened yet. Glenn Robinson III was a great piece to the Golden State Warriors last season and can help them again if he chooses to return.

The Warriors were reluctant to trade Robinson last year but it was a deal that had to be done. Both sides acknowledged the business aspect of this move and left the door open for a potential reunion in the future.

If it’s ever going to happen – why not now?

Robinson has been waived by the Sacramento Kings after 23 games. His numbers dipped significantly with the Kings, but we can’t judge him too harshly as Sacramento hasn’t exactly proven to be the best place for players to shine.

The Warriors know what they’re getting with GR3. He’s a lanky athlete with three-level scoring capabilities. He’ll hold his own defensively and play within his skill set on offense. It’s an all-around win for the Dubs and it would be nice to see Robinson back in the Bay.
