How Stephen Curry is unguardable: He’s now the sole offensive weapon

Stephen Curry has had to elevate his game to levels that are being recognized around the league frankly because he’s had to. If Curry doesn’t play at this level, the Warriors aren’t going to have won their last four games.

While they still aren’t over .500, they’re headed that way. At 113 per game, the Warriors are averaging the 14th-most points per game in the NBA. Curry’s by himself is bringing in a career-high 30.7 of them.

Over his last nine games, he’s averaging over 38 points per game.

The Warriors are 6-3 in that stretch. In previous seasons, Curry hasn’t had to be the sole star for the Dubs offense as the last time Golden State was in playoff contention Klay Thompson was healthy and Kevin Durant was still on the roster.
