Golden State Warriors player that could be traded: Mychal Mulder

The second player that could be traded is Mychal Mulder, who has a partially guaranteed contract. There aren’t many Warriors locked in for next season, so unless a Big 3 was traded, one of these partially guaranteed deals has to be included.

Given his contract, it seems like the Warriors would just keep him on or release him, but if he can showcase some value, he may be worth something on the trade market. Mulder has lost minutes this season to Damion Lee.

He’s not in the rotation, and he’s struggling to make a name for himself. Mulder was brought back to the Bay Area after a terrific first season in the NBA. As with Lee and many other players, Mulder’s opportunity has wanned.

It isn’t necessarily his fault, but he’s not as impactful as he was a season ago. Mulder is a sniper, and he’s nearing 37 percent from downtown. That’s where his value lies, and it should keep him at least on a team for the long-term future.

Averaging just ten minutes per game, Mulder may find a better opportunity on another franchise, and he may have enough value to be traded this offseason and not released.
