2. Consistent Effort

We all saw Juan Toscano-Anderson dive headfirst into the stands to save a loose ball which resulted in a Stephen Curry 3-pointer (and a concussion for JTA). After the game, Anderson said he’d do it again, 10 times out of 10, to keep the play alive.

This type of consistent effort and hustle has been at the heart of the Golden State Warriors’ success this season. So many guys on the roster are fighting for their NBA lives and this urgency has bred some magnificent stories.

Players like Jordan Poole, JTA and Damion Lee entered this season with a ton to prove. Even Andrew Wiggins and Kent Bazemore had a chip on their shoulder. This extra bit of motivation has helped the team push forward in a difficult year.

Most of all, their full-time commitment to getting better has helped this band of outcasts gel into a cohesive unit. The Warriors are dishing an NBA-high 30+ assists per game over the last few weeks of play and this is in large part due to the chemistry they’ve been building all season long.
