The Golden State Warriors may be gearing up for a last-second run to the playoffs but the NBA Draft should be on their mind as well. One prospect standing above the rest of their potential options? Jalen Green.

Jalen Green should be at the top of the Golden State Warriors NBA Draft wish-list. Here are the pros and cons of Green’s game.

With the hope that the Minnesota Timberwolves’ pick will fall out of the top-three, the Dubs will be able to secure a chance at taking Green. Due to names such as Jalen Suggs, Evan Mobley, Jonathan Kuminga and of course, Cade Cunningham loading up the lottery – it’s entirely possible Green slips to fourth or fifth, directly into the Warriors’ hands.

Where would this put the Warriors? Is drafting a 6’5″ guard a good idea when the Splash Brothers will be healthy next season?

I think so. The Dubs’ supporting cast is lacking and stacking the rotation with another elite guard is an easy way for the Warriors to buff their bench and add more offense to an already strong defensive team.

It’s unclear if the Warriors will even hold onto a top-five pick this time as many are arguing the front office needs to go all-in on winning now. Regardless, Green will undoubtedly be a tough prospect to pass on if the Dubs get a chance to draft him. Let’s see why:
