The 2021 NBA Playoffs will be here before you know it. Each team has fewer than 20 games remaining and the Golden State Warriors themselves are gearing up for a strong finish to an adverse season.
The Warriors are hitting their stride at precisely the right time and punching their tickets to the playoffs. Or, a spot in the Play-In Tournament rather, as the league tests a new format in their rushed season.
We’ve been over this a few times already — but here’s another quick rundown. The seven/eight and nine/10 seeds in each conference will compete against one another. The winner of the seven/eight secures the eighth seed, while the loser faces the winner of the nine/10 game in one final match that determines who obtains the final playoff spot.
