At this point, there are not many records remaining for Stephen Curry to shatter in terms of 3-point shooting. The Golden State Warriors superstar has left his mark on the league once again with the single greatest shooting month of all time.

The Golden State Warriors have two more games to play in April, but Stephen Curry has already clocked in the greatest month of 3-point shooting the NBA has ever seen.

With two games to spare in the month, Curry has drilled 85 total 3-pointers on 47.2 percent shooting. This is the NBA record for a single month, surpassing James Harden’s mark of 82 in November of 2019. For the record, Harden shot just 38.9 percent on 30 more attempts than Curry thus far through April.

There’s no denying that Curry’s level of efficiency and volume is unprecedented. Even his record-shattering 2015-16 unanimous MVP season didn’t see an explosive stretch of shooting like this from Curry. This is in part due to Klay Thompson being sidelined, fully unleashing Curry to unload his clip every single night.

For the entire month of April, Curry has scored 30 or more points in all but one game. He recently held a streak of 11-straight 30+ point games before an outlier game against Washington saw Curry score only 18 points.

Some highlights of April include a 53 point performance in Denver and two other games in which Curry drilled 10+ 3-pointers. The Warriors of course have benefited greatly from this shooting, going 7-3 across their last 10 games.

Overall, this month has been a dominant display of marksmanship from the greatest shooter of all time. He leads the entire NBA in 3-pointers with 273 makes in just 53 games. He is now just over 200 total 3-pointers away from passing Ray Allen as the all-time league leader — a mark he will likely reach next season.

While the Warriors won’t be competing for a title this season, it sure has been fun to watch Curry light up opponents on a nightly basis.
