After losing four of their last five to end the month of March, the Golden State Warriors have turned themselves into play-in tournament candidates after a stronger-than-expected April. It’s been Stephen Curry that’s carried them through the month though.

He’s averaging over 38 points per game and drilling 6.5 triples per game. The two-time MVP has already set the record for most three-point makes in calendar-month history with 85. To make things even better, there are still two games remaining!

The Golden State Warriors have been carried by Stephen Curry throughout the month of April, but expect these three to step up in a big way in May.

As for the team actually thriving, the Dubs are going to need more than just Curry to get through teams like Denver in the playoffs. Sure, they may be able to take down the Blazers and Spurs and even the Grizzlies with just Curry’s dominance.

But, some of the better teams aren’t going to let Curry absolutely destroy them. With winnable games down the stretch, the Dubs need to find their stride as they enter that late-May play-in tournament.

That said, here’s who the team needs to get hot to make the most of a potential playoff run.
