Warriors player the team would love to see get hot: Mychal Mulder

Mychal Mulder drew the start against the Kings, and he didn’t disappoint. The 6-foot-3 guard had fallen out of Kerr’s rotation, so it’s nice to see him getting the start and finding his rhythm. Mulder drilled three triples and put up 11 points.

While Kent Bazemore will likely take over as the starter again once back active, Mulder may have proven enough to be in the team’s rotation.

After nearing 30 minutes per game in just a handful of appearances last season as a rookie, Mulder saw his opportunity be cut dramatically this season.

To be fair, players like Damion Lee, Mulder, and Jordan Poole all have seen reduced time with the addition of Kelly Oubre Jr. and Curry’s return. None have quite been hit harder than Mulder who has been both in and out of the rotation this season.

For the Dubs, if Mulder can get hot, he’s almost as electric of a shooter as anyone not named Stephen Curry. Getting Mulder going would also relieve some work off Curry’s shoulders as he’s had to take on most of the offensive burden.
