Potential suitor for Warriors guard Kelly Oubre Jr.: Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors have already been eliminated from playoff contention.

With a few games left in the season, the Raptors are in unfamiliar waters after taking down the Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals. Kawhi Leonard left that offseason, and they haven’t been the same dominant force since.

Now, they do have a few great pieces within their organization already. Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, and Gary Trent Jr. all have sky-high ceilings and will be the building blocks for this franchise.

With the cap space to add a star given the potential exodus of long-time Raptor Kyle Lowry, the team may look to bring in another piece to build their roster with. That’s where the 25-year-old Oubre comes into play. They have the cap and they have the talent.

With Oubre Jr., the Raptors would be one of the best defensive teams in the entire NBA. While he may not be the superstar he needs, he’d certainly help them rebuild themselves into a playoff-contending roster.
