Potential suitor for Warriors guard Kelly Oubre Jr.: Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies have a nice young core, cap space, and a need for a shooting guard. That’s the difference between the Grizzlies and the Raptors. Trent Jr. could be the future of the two for Toronto.

The Grizzlies need a shooting guard, and they could use a dynamic scorer alongside young phenom Ja Morant.

The No. 2 overall pick in the draft class that featured superstar Zion Williamson, Morant has been terrific for Memphis. He’s averaging 19.2 points per game in his second season. Adding a player that averaged over 18 points per game last season can only improve the Grizzlies roster.

The Grizzlies are going to be a play-in tournament-caliber team this season, but with Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson Jr. in their frontcourt along with Morant, this team should be able to get to that next level.

Oubre Jr. could be the one that takes them there.
