Even a spot in the play-in tournament would’ve seemed like an accomplished a few months ago. When the news first broke of Klay Thompson‘s injury back in November, the Warriors’ season was thought to already be over.

But, then, two-time MVP Stephen Curry happened. While many may have been thinking and even potentially hoping for the star point guard to break down and collapse as the sole leader of the team, he’s done exactly the opposite.

The Golden State Warriors are locked into a play-in tournament berth, and with the help of their secret weapons, they could make a deep playoff run.

The Warriors are going to end the season with a top-nine seed. The goal is to down the Grizzlies and claim that No. 8 seed. Either way, they’ll be in the playoffs taking on the No. 7-seeded Lakers or No. 10-seeded Spurs.

With that in mind, the Warriors are going to certainly need more than just Stephen Curry, who is preparing to claim his second scoring title this season. While Curry’s been absolutely phenomenal, the hope should be that another few players step up.

The Warriors have them on their roster, and these three “secret weapons” could show up in a big way over the next few weeks.
