Warriors player cut from rotation: Damion Lee/Mychal Mulder

The Golden State Warriors, especially when Kelly Oubre Jr. returns, will have to decide how they’re going to play their shooting guards. The second guard position is arguably the deepest position on the team.

While Oubre Jr. has been sidelined (the 25-year-old has missed the past ten games), Kent Bazemore has been starting. Given Bazemore’s experience in the league, I’d expect that to continue.

For now, Mulder is getting minutes behind him.

His shooting has been elite lately, but if Lee is good to go, he may bet he preferred option for Kerr. Lee is averaging almost 20 minutes per game while Mulder is at under 13. They’re shooting identical from deep, both drilling 39.7 percent of their attempts. Lee does have more height.

That said, both may lose minutes when Bazemore and Oubre Jr. are available, and Mulder will lose minutes when Lee returns. Until then, he should continue to see time, but I’m not sure how long that’ll last.
