The Golden State Warriors suffered a devastating 103-100 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 7-seed vs. 8-seed play-in game.

After playing an extraordinary defensive game at Staples Center, the Golden State Warriors were unable to prevail against the heroics of LeBron James and the Lakers.

Although it appeared that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope traveled underneath the Warriors basket, he was allowed to desperately kick out the ball to James where he would then nail an outrageous heave; which would then become the dagger.

Despite Draymond Green contributing only two points that came on FTs, his defensive effort didn’t go unnoticed. With 3 steals and 3 blocks, Draymond was a pest. It was the best defensive outing he has had in quite some time. That is why Draymond is so valuable. He tends to do the little things that may go unnoticed, yet so beneficial to the team’s success.

Predicting the statistical performances for the startling lineups between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies.

As the Warriors fell short to the Lakers, the Memphis Grizzlies came up big time against the Spurs in the elimination game between the 9-seed vs.10-seed. Jonas Valanciunas displayed a monstrous performance putting up 23-23-1 with 3 blocks. The Grizzlies will be hungry to make the postseason as they came up 1 game short last year in a thriller in the NBA bubble against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks continuously improve their game, and a healthy Jaren Jackson Jr. is back in action.  Expect the Grizzlies to give the Warriors a run for their money.
