Golden State Warriors vs. Grizzlies: Predicting statistical performances
Small Forwards: Wiggins maintains averages while Anderson strives defensively
Andrew Wiggins: 19-5-3, 2 STL, 2 BLK, 7-17 FG, 2-6 3PT
Wiggins won’t do anything spectacular. He will play his usual game doing a little bit of everything.
Kyle Anderson: 10-6-1, 3 BLK, 5-11 FG, 2-4 3PT
With Anderson’s length and versatility, he comes out as a very underrated defender. He also plays a very unorthodox style of offensive play which can be tricky to defend at times.
Power Forwards: Green dominates while Jackson Jr. struggles with conditioning
Draymond Green: 12-12-14, 2 STL, 3 BLK, 4-10 FG
Draymond will come out firing on all cylinders and will fill out the stat sheet. With their season on the line, Green will be the x-factor getting the Warriors over the hump. Green loves the big stage and a triple-double will prove that.
Jaren Jackson Jr: 8-3-2, 1 BLK, 3-9 FG, 2-5 3PT
Although JJJ is deemed as 100% healthy, he will need to be moving relentlessly with all the screens that Draymond and Steph run. It will be tough for JJJ to keep up after coming back from injury and his play will suffer.
Centers: Valanciunas dominates the Glass while Looney is invisible
Kevon Looney: 4-5-1, 1 BLK, 2-4 FG
Looney will have a tough matchup against a versatile Valanciunas. JV’s presence on the glass will downplay the effort from Looney.
Jonas Valanciunas: 22-14-1, 2 BLK, 10-16 FG
Valanciunas will be dominant against a smaller Warriors lineup. His ability to grab offensive boards will be an annoyance for the Warriors. If Golden State can diminish Valanciunas in this game. They should be able to win with ease.
With the season series being in favor 2-1 for the dubs, the Grizzlies will look to even the series and punch their ticket to a game in Salt Lake City, Utah.
