Warriors-Grizzlies Bold Prediction: Dillon Brooks goes off for 25-plus points

Dillon Brooks should have some claim to an All-Defensive team spot. While he may not get the award, he deserves to be in the conversation, and fans got to see that first hand as he defended DeMarr DeRozan very well in the game before the Lakers and Warriors.

Brooks has an offensive game that’s is crafty as well. He put up 24 points against the Spurs and has been having a career year on that end of the court. He’s averaging 17.2 points per game, up from 16.2 per game the season before.

He’s hitting 41.9 percent of his attempts, the second-highest rate of his career.

While it still isn’t great, Brooks makes up for it with the court spacing that he provides for ultra-athletic players like Ja Morant. Brooks has knocked down 1.9 triples per game and shot 34.4 percent from deep.

If Brooks has himself a game like this, the Grizzlies will give the Warriors all they can handle. The Griz are 5-2 when Brooks hits 25, and they’ll need him to have a big game if they hope to push Golden State to their limits.
