Golden State Warriors that disappointed: Eric Paschall

It was actually nothing that Paschall did to get on this list, but rather what he did not do. Paschall missed the last few weeks of the season, and in turn, he didn’t find himself in the rotation at times the Warriors desperately needed another scoring option.

Paschall has two straight DNP – Coach’s Decision.

After a solid second season in the NBA, averaging 9.5 points per game on 49.7 percent from the field, Paschall failed to get back into the rotation. He ended up playing just 40 of the 74 games. Now, there are things that Paschall can build on.

He did manage to show that he can play well with the second unit. With many players like Damion Lee, Mychal Mulder, and Paschall, being on a playoff-contending team was going to bring challenges to their minutes.

Paschall’s 17.4 minutes per game put his 36-minute scoring average over that of his rookie season, so he was productive on the offensive end when he got in the game.

It was disappointing that he didn’t make an impact in the play-in tournament, and even more saddening that fans only saw him in one game over the team’s last 24.
