That is a wrap for the 2020-21 NBA season. The Golden State Warriors did pretty much everything you could reasonably expect from them, though falling just short of truly reaching their ceiling as a playoff team. Now it is time to shift our attention full-time to the offseason and the upcoming NBA Draft.

The Warriors are fortunate to miss the playoffs, actually. Their own first round pick now falls to 14th in the lottery and gives them a shot at landing in the top-three (roughly a two percent chance).

Meanwhile, the Dubs will not be able to secure a top-three pick from their trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but there is a 10 percent chance the Wolves’ pick lands at fourth, which would then transfer to Golden State. Overall, there is a 70 percent likelihood the Dubs secure a top-10 pick from the wolves.

The 2021 NBA Draft offers a chance for the Golden State Warriors to add some talent to a decimated roster. Here is who they should target.

This means the Warriors will have an opportunity to load up on some young talent to pair with James Wiseman and Jordan Poole. We will look at the pros and cons of five prospects as well as how they fit on the Dubs moving forward.
