June 22nd. The draft lottery. Mark your calendars, Golden State Warriors fans.

After the Warriors’ soul-searching losses in the play-in tourney, they find themselves outside the playoff picture for a second straight season. Only this time it really stings.

Now the team, front office and the fans look to the future through the offseason, and the first step is the dropping of the lottery balls on June 22nd.

The Golden State Warriors may have two lottery picks. That said, let’s dive into six pass or draft prospects that’ll undoubtedly hear their name called.

24 days from now, deputy commissioner Mark Tatum will step to the podium and kick off a potentially chaotic offseason.

The Warriors own at least the 14th pick regardless of where it falls and have a 72.4 percent chance of keeping Minnesota’s pick, currently slotted at 6th overall.

They have made it abundantly clear the mistakes of last year will not be made again, and if players are selected, they will be ready to go from day one.

Assuming the Warriors make both selections, let’s take a look at which draft prospects fit on the timeline of this team and play a game of “draft or pass.”
