Kelly Oubre Jr. has a big-market personality

If you watched Kelly Oubre Jr. during his time with the Warriors, there’s one thing that always stuck out — his enthusiastic personality. That type of play and passion in front of Madison Square Garden on a nightly basis would be incredible to see.

Oubre Jr. is still young at 25, so time is on his side. He’s only been in the league for six seasons, and a few of those were on teams that weren’t really competitive.

His last two seasons have been with the Phoenix  Suns and Warriors, both teams that were on the verge of making the playoffs. He played a solid role in both organizations and left the Suns in good standing. If he signed elsewhere, there should be no hard feelings towards Oubre Jr.

He gave his all for Golden State when able to play, and I wholeheartedly believe if he didn’t have significant injuries he’d have played the last few games. That said, here is one of those crowd-boosting plays he’s capable of.

Oubre Jr. gives the passion at MSG would thrive off. His personality married with the fans in New York would create a hectic environment and is certainly a reason why the two parties could be a perfect fit.
