Kelly Oubre Jr. is a long-term piece

The best of a potential Oubre Jr. addition for the Knicks is that he’s only 25.

The Knicks scratched the surface of their potential this season, and with players like Barrett and Obi Toppin, they should continue to improve their roster. Oubre Jr. would slide into their young team and be a long-term piece.

Oubre Jr. is the perfect mix of a player with potential and one that’s already developed. New York needs players like Oubre Jr. to get back to a consistent playoff contender. Then, they may start attracting those big-name stars.
