Is Warriors’ Steph Curry the best basketball player on the planet?

Which point guards can compete with Stephen Curry?

Lillard aside, Young, De’Aaron Fox and the other young talents across the league will have their time. And unfortunately, I think Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul are too old to still have a shot at the No. 1 spot among point guards.

As great as James Harden and Luka Doncic are I don’t think we can proclaim them better than Steph. Doncic’s time will come in the very near future, and as for Harden, remember the last time the two met in the playoffs?

That’s right, Steph had an all-time second half of scoring without Kevin Durant, and Harden faded away into the shadows when his team needed him the most (and also had a significant advantage health-wise).

I think it’s fair to put Steph ahead of LeBron right now. The King just can’t seem to get back to full fitness and we’ll have to wait till next season to see if he can reclaim the throne as the best player. The same applies to AD.

I’ll also take Steph over Embiid or Giannis any day just based on his record of showing up in playoff games – but that could change this post-season if the two big men finally live up to expectations.
